1. Did you enjoy the play? Explain why or why not. Cite at least one specific example from the play to support your response.
2. Romeo and Juliet was written 400 years ago. Does the play still have relevance to teenagers today? Is it still worth reading? Explain why or why not and
support your response by referencing what aspects of the play, exactly, remain relevant.
3. Out of the three versions of the play we encountered, the original text, the Zefferelli film, and the contemporary version, which did you enjoy the most?
Explain your response and include specific references to the texts in order to support your opinion.

Monday Morning in October Journal Entry

Good Morning! Today is Monday, October 18th. Instead of writing in our bound journals or in our notebooks, I would like for everyone to post a journal entry. You may write on anything - any topic. Some suggestions are: How was your weekend? What did you do? Describe a moment you spent over the weekend in detail. Picture a place in your mind and try to describe it as carefully and as explicitly as you can. Write a Haiku. Write a poem. Do you like typing a journal entry better than writing in your notebook? What is the difference? How do you feel this morning? Think of something nice you can do for someone before the day is over. What would it be?

Fahrenheit 451: "The Sieve and the Sand"

Post one of your quotes and responses or one of your discussion questions from Part 2: "The Sieve and the Sand." If you think of something to post other than what you've done for homework, you may do that. Your post should be thoughtful and intelligent, and it should be written using the correct standards of English grammar. Be sure to include your first name and the initial of your last name only.
